The Stone Street Strummers Banjo Band has been performing since 1981.  During this extensive period of performing, we realize  how important it is to attract new members to the band.  The door is always open for amateur musicians of all ages to be a part of our band.  Visiting musicians from other bands are always welcome.

Practice Location

The band holds bi-monthly practice sessions ( usually Wednesday evening from 7:00 -  9:30 PM ) at the American Legion Hall in Foxboro, Ma.  (  Click here for directions )
We provide committed players with our music book containing over 300 songs collected over the years.  Our song charts show the melody and chords for each piece.  The arrangements vary, as determined by our Musical Director.

Performance Locations

We perform primarily in the Boston metro south and west; however, we do travel as far as Worcester,Rhode Island, and south to Cape Cod.  We perform for the elderly (usually private gigs), company functions,  and public venues throughout the area.
