Mr. Sean Moyses is regarded as one of Europe's top professional banjo players. He has been playing since he was eleven years old, encouraged by his family who all played music. Sean soon mastered the Ukelele-banjo, Mandolin, Five-string banjo, Guitar, Plectrum banjo and developed a love for jazz music of the 1920's and 1930's. His ambition of playing with the famous Pasadena Roof Orchestra soon became a reality and with them he performed major concerts, television and radio broadcasts not only in England, but in Holland, France, and Germany as well. In 1996 he moved from England to reside in Germany. He formed his own jazz band, a ragtime duo and offered himself as a banjo soloist. He is a member of Rod Mason's Hot Five and has guested with such notable bands as The Barrelhouse Jazzband and the Euro Top Eight. Sean will perform a cameo appearance Saturday night, in the Saturday "All Star Show" and in various venues all weekend long. Don't miss this opportunity . . . |
