For the past 18 years, the Stone Street
Strummers Band has organized a music-filled weekend at the
Holiday Inn in Mansfield, Ma. The band kicks off the weekend on Thursday
night with a free concert open to the public. On Friday afternoon a
musical welcome party is held. On Saturday afternoon we present the
" All Star Show", in which bands from around the area perform on stage,
along with world-class invited professional musicians well known in the "fretted
instrument" world. Saturday evening the headliners perform.

Another very popular feature of the Spring Fling is the organized Jam Session
conducted by our own Tom Fee.
Amateur musicians are encouraged to bring
their instruments and "jam" in designated "jamming" rooms. Saturday evening
, after the
banquet, professional musicians perform in concert. Jamming start
right after the final curtain call and continues until.........dawn?
Sunday
things begin to wind down with an organized Gospel Jam hosted by
the
Rev. Tom Fee, and end with
the usual " afterglow" jam sessions.
